once the tourney has started, this can be/is
disrupting to other players. Thanks!

***HERE ARE THE RULES! Please let's ALL follow them!***

1. There are to be NO CAPS used in the lobby except by the TD's running this tournament !

2. ALL communication devices (POWWOW, ICQ, AOL IM, Roger Wilco, CoolTalk, etc) are to be
turned OFF completely during tournament.**NOTE** Finding someone with these on is subject to
removal from the game and possible ban from future tournaments.

3. A 5 minute break between games is allowed. Notify HOST/HOSTESS before taking this break
though!! HOST/HOSTESS immediately! There are to be NO BRB'S during game play itself. If an
emergency during gameplay occurs, notify TD's immediately!

4. If a BOOT occurs, the booted player has 10 minutes to return to return to the table. Stay at your
table and wait! Hold ALL cards! If they do not return within the allotted time, notify the
HOST/HOSTESS with the decision to finish with a sub or forfeiture of the game. There will be a 2
BOOT limit per player, per round !! After the third BOOT the player WILL NOT be allowed to rejoin
the tournament.

5. NO TABLE TALK is allowed !! This includes things such as "set'em","Bag'em","go nil", etc. Table
talk is talking about the game you are in, in any way shape or form. Table talk is subject to removal
from game and possible future ban.

6. We will provide subs IF there are any available. But please lets only use the subs when necessary.
You will keep your points up to that time., then the sub will get any future points once they take over
for that days tournament. Subs will NOT be placed in the Semi Final or Final rounds, unless an
emergency has occurred.

7. First team listed makes the table and has choice of seats! Upon completion of that round, report
wins to the HOST/HOSTESS immediately . Due to odd number of teams sometimes, there can and will
be byes. So a team may get to skip a round due to this.

8. LAGGING- If a player lags for more then 2 minutes, notify HOST/HOSTESS, so they can contact
that person. If there is repeated lagging by that person, it can be cause for disqualification.

9.In the event of a tie score at the end of the round, the team with the

lowest bags wins. If score and bags are the same, then one more

hand is played to determine winner. A tie is when ALL 3 numbers match.

10. MULTITASKING - NO ONE is allowed to occupy more then 1 tournament at a time. You are also
not allowed to occupy more then 1 room at a time. Stay in your room, unless contacting
HOST/HOSTESS.

11. No 2 people in the same home, office, etc are allowed to partner with each other. If found doing
this, you will be disqualified and can be cause for banishment from future tournaments.

12. If there are ANY disputes, notify HOST/HOSTESS immediately and IN PRIVATE! The decision of
the HOST/HOSTESS is FINAL! Disruption of the tournamnet is cause for removal from the
tournament, and can be reason enough for banishment!

13. Fighting, name calling, cursing, etc... WILL NOT be tolerated, and may be cause for
disqualification.

14. Especially make sure you never ever mute a TD for that hosting group. At no time should the mute
button for the watchers be in mute mode, Unless approved by a TD. If there is a problem with a
watcher please contact a host and they will take care of the matter for you!!

15. Cheating of ANY kind will result in immediate disqualification, and possible ban from any future
tournaments.

Standard rules of the arena will also apply! Above ALL else......Let's have fun and keep this
tournament clean, so everyone can enjoy it!

ADDITIONAL NOTE: THERE IS NO BOSTON RULE FOR
ONLINE SPADES TOURNEYS AT WON.NET!!!
